OUTFIT/ Fresh Cut - Touch Up

(click photo above to view in Lookbook)

Leather Cap - American Apparel | Bomber Jacket, Tassel Bag - Topshop
Long-Length Shirt - Stanfields | Wrap-Short - Is Not Dead (Secret Location)
Printed Socks - Topman | Sandals - Dr. Martens

Finally got my hair touched up at JD's Barber in Gastown by Harvey and I'm so happy with it! Make sure to check out the gif after the jump for another 360 view sans the cap.

In other news, I found these two packs of long-length t-shirts in my dad's closet when I was looking for some "vintage" clothing last week.  Saul and I had watched Kill Your Darlings, featuring Dane DeHaan and Daniel Radcliffe, twice in the past two weeks. It's set in the 40s and based on the true story of American Poet Allen Ginsberg - I highly recommend it. Saul and Judah loved it so much they  wanted to dress up at Lucien Carr and Allen Ginsberg and take selfies but we needed the right wardrobe.  **Dah da da daaaa* enter dad's closet.

BRUNCH CLUB/ Ft. Sarah Koh!

This will just be a quick one tonight but I'm going to start to take more in between shots for the B-Club so bear with me this time because looking back at them, they're kind of rough. Whoops!

We were SO happy to be able to have brunch with Sarah and Spencer! We know both Sarah and Spencer through Little Burgundy and haven't been able to really meet up until recently. The last time Saul and I had seen and Sarah was last year after we all had a bit too much to drink at Guu Garden.  We took it easy this time with coffee and Tomato + Brie Bennies and had an amazing time catching up!

Full outfits are after the jump as per usual so don't forget to check em out!

Brunch Club/ Ft. Mr. Corey Mah!

Went for brunch at The Alibi Room again with Alex, Kels, Saul, and myself and all of us except for Kels ordered the Tomato + Brie Eggs Benny - Kels ordered the Big Brekky. Now I know you're all thinking, "What about Corey? What did Corey have?" Well truth be told, he wasn't really there for the actual brunch part, he had a dim-sum date with his grandma. We did have a great time hanging out with him later in the day though so in my books that counts. ^^

Make sure to see all of the photos after the jump!

OUTFIT/ Have A Nice Day!

(click the image above to view on Lookbook)

Bucket Hat - Hudson's Bay | Check Coat, Hayden Jeans, Fang Sandals - Topshop
Washed-Poly Crinkle Shirt - Topman | Taffeta Thank You Bag by Lauren Dicioccio - Neighbour

It's been an extremely busy week but now that Model Store is over @ work, I have a nice 4 day weekend to celebrate our "exceeding model store expectations" and to just. relax.

After we got our score for the store and finished for the day, I went on a hunt to reward myself with something. I thought, "Maybe ice cream?" but you and I both know that I actually wanted something that would last me a bit longer. Short story short, I ended up at Neighbour in Gastown and left with the CUTEST handmade-in-san-fran embroidered taffeta bag. Comes in three other styles (photos after the jump if you're interested), and are only $35 each!

OUTFIT/ 30,000

30,000 pageviews and 1500 Instagram followers later, I'd like to start off this outfit post by saying THANKYOU! To everyone that's visited, liked, commented, followed, hyped, texted, faxed, paged, and sent/given/thrown any form of love and good energy towards me! It's been a bit more than a year since I started SWAV and it's been more than a great time being able to show people who I am and what I do. To all the new friends I've made in this past year as well, it's been great to meet you and to all the creatives I've also encountered, near and far, I hope to be able to work with you in the future!

BRUNCH CLUB/ Weather Report

The weather this week has been all over the place - a little for the better and a little for the worse. It started out kind of sunny, like the kind of sunny that feels good against your face but you still need to wear a light jacket or a sweater. Then by Wednesday to Thursday it had quickly progressed to a full blown mid-August heatwave; socks sandals and tshirts were the only things to wear unless you wanted to die of heatstroke. Friday was alright, a bit cloudy and bit not cloudy, later on in the day it sprinkled a little bit, but the sun was still out, but also not enough for a rainbow? Which leads us to Saturday.

I woke up and 8:30 and it was quite nice out, the sun peeking through clouds here and there, and I thought to myself, "Surely it'll burn the clouds away by noon," but I was wrong. The day quickly greyed over, only to rain, and then stop, and then pour, and then stop, and then sprinkle, and then stop, and then rain again. Leave it to my optimistic self to wear sandals and not bring a jacket. Kelsey came prepared though because in North Van where she lives, it had hailed earlier in the morning. Saul was feeling under the weather so he wore something comfortable which turned out to be slightly more practical than my outfit for the given weather.

Needless to say, we ended up at Alibi Room once more and the food was AMAZING as always. I got the tomato & brie eggs benny, and Kelsey ventured away from her Big Brekky and got one as well. Saul got a regular eggs benny and coffee was had all around.
